
Acclaimed actor Hwang Jung Min is taking on a bold new challenge by wearing lipstick and a skirt as he transforms into the beloved character of 'Mrs. Doubtfire' in the upcoming Korean adaptation of the musical.

The musical 'Mrs. Doubtfire', produced by Sam Company and Studio Sunday, is set to return for its 2025 season with even bigger laughs and deeper emotions. Known for its perfect blend of comedy and heartfelt storytelling, the production previously won accolades at the '7th Korea Musical Awards,' including Best Producer and Best Makeup Design. Its strong reception confirmed both its artistic merit and popular appeal.
The story follows Daniel, a divorced father who disguises himself as a Scottish nanny named 'Mrs. Doubtfire' in order to stay close to his children. The role requires a remarkable range including quick costume changes, comedic timing, and emotional depth. This has drawn attention with the casting of three powerhouse actors: Hwang Jung Min, Jung Sung Hwa, and Jung Sang Hoon.

Each actor brings their own unique flair to the demanding role, which includes 20 quick costume changes and witty dialogue. With their proven acting skills, vocal talent, and commanding stage presence, the trio is expected to deliver unforgettable performances that balance humor and heart.
