The Boyz member Hyunjae will perform sitting in a chair for the time being due to an ankle injury.
The group's label One Hundred announced on July 31 KST,
"Hello, this is One Hundred.
During the live broadcast aired earlier today, Hyunjae sustained an ankle injury and visited the hospital for an examination. It was concluded that a ligament in the ankle had partially ruptured.
Per the doctor's advice, Hyunjae will participate on the stage for KBS2's 'Music Bank' tomorrow (August 1 KST) sitting in a chair.
We sincerely apologize to the fans who waited patiently for The Boyz's first comeback stage.
The artist's participation in further schedules will be adjusted from here on with his recovery remaining our top priority. One Hundred promises to do its best so that Hyunjae can recover as soon as possible.
Please continue to send The Boyz your support and love.
Thank you."
On the evening of July 31 KST, The Boyz greeted fans with a Weverse Live broadcast where they played basketball at an indoor court. The group is scheduled to begin promotions for their 10th mini album comeback title track "Stylish" on the August 1 broadcast of 'Music Bank'.
