NEWBEAT is set to release a surprise new digital single titled “Cappuccino.”
The seven-member group — Park Min Seok, Hong Min Sung, Jeon Yeo Yeo Jeong, Choi Seo Hyun, Kim Tae Yang, Jo Yoon Hoo, and Kim Riu — will unveil the track on August 5 at 12PM KST through various music platforms.
“Cappuccino” is conceptually linked to their previous pre-release single “JeLLo (힘숨찐)” from their first full album 'RAW AND RAD'. While “JeLLo” depicted a fantasy where members gained hidden strength through jelly, “Cappuccino” explores the awakening of new emotions — subtle tension and excitement — after drinking cappuccino instead.
The single is not part of a formal comeback, but rather a special gift for fans ahead of their upcoming album release later this year.
NEWBEAT made their official debut in March with their first full album 'RAW AND RAD', supported by Mnet’s debut show “Drop the NEWBEAT” and SBS fan showcase “힘숨찐 해부실.” Their powerful performances have since earned them spots in major lineups including '2025 LOVESOME Festival', 'Seoul Spring Festa', 'KCON JAPAN 2025', and 'MyK FESTA'.
In addition to music promotions, the group has actively engaged in fan meetings, blood donation campaigns, and busking events, further expanding their domestic and global fanbase.
NEWBEAT’s digital single “Cappuccino” will be released simultaneously worldwide on August 5 at 12PM (KST).
