K-pop group Koyote’s member Shinji has drawn a clear line in response to invasive comments regarding her upcoming marriage and potential inheritance issues.
Recently, Shinji took to her personal social media to share, “It was an honor to perform as a guest at Miss Trot’s First Love concert today. I was happy to be on stage with my juniors,” posting photos with fellow Koyote members Kim Jong Min and Bbaekga.
While most netizens flooded the post with messages of support, one commenter wrote, “Please make sure to establish a prenuptial agreement so your hard-earned money doesn’t go to Mr. Moon’s daughter, who isn’t your biological child.”
To this, Shinji politely but firmly replied, “That won’t happen, and I respectfully decline comments unrelated to the post.”
Another commenter asked, “Are you really going to go through with the wedding?”—to which Shinji repeated, “I respectfully decline comments unrelated to the post.”
Earlier this year, Shinji made headlines with her announcement that she would be marrying singer Moon Won. The couple is reportedly preparing for a wedding next year, and their pre-wedding photos have already been taken.
Moon Won later appeared on Shinji’s YouTube channel, where he openly revealed that he is divorced and has a daughter. However, this admission sparked controversy after it was revealed that Moon previously operated in real estate without a license. Further anonymous claims about his past have also surfaced online.
Shinji’s agency issued an official statement on July 8 denying the rumors and defending her fiancé against unfounded allegations.
