aespa member Giselle has been revealed as the cover star of Elle Korea’s August issue, making the moment even more special by appearing alongside her beloved dog Cooper.
Reflecting on the experience, she shared, “Whether I’m doing a photo shoot or spending time with Cooper, those are the moments I feel most like myself. It means so much more to do this with Cooper, who’s been family for a long time.”
Following the shoot, Giselle sat down for an interview. Speaking about her new solo single 'Dirty Work', she said, “I think I’m gradually finding my own color. I try to express the vibe I want while collaborating with the team. It’s been busy with music shows and promotions, but I’ve loved seeing the fans more often.”
Known for aespa’s strong visual identity, Giselle discussed the group’s creative process: “Visual direction is one of my favorite parts. We all share ideas actively, including meetings with the MV director. I don’t think any result comes easily—it’s always a process.”
When asked about the impact of meaningful conversations, she replied, “Good conversations with good people feel like a kind of escape. I can be a little cynical, so talking with people who have a positive mindset is refreshing and fun.”
aespa is currently promoting Dirty Work, and will kick off their third world tour with 'aespa Live Tour – SYNK: AXIS LINE' – in Seoul, taking place August 29–31.
