Actor and singer Cha Eun Woo has officially enlisted in the military, and his agency Fantagio has released a statement asking fans for their understanding and cooperation.
On July 29 KST, Fantagio shared an update via ASTRO’s official fan café, writing,
“Thanks to the immense support of AROHA (ASTRO’s fandom), Cha Eun Woo successfully entered the training center on July 28.” The agency continued, “However, we would like to make one important request regarding this matter.”
“We understand that many AROHA wish to send messages of support to Cha Eun Woo, but the military base cannot manage a large volume of letters or parcels,” the agency explained. “We kindly ask fans to refrain from sending any mail or packages directly to the training center.”
They also added a clear warning: “If gifts or letters interfere with Cha Eun Woo’s military life, it may result in unavoidable penalties from our side.”
The agency requested that any messages or gifts intended for Cha Eun Woo be sent to the company instead.
“We ask that letters or packages you wish to send to Cha Eun Woo be sent to our office,” they said. “We will continue to do our utmost to support his smooth military service.”
Cha Eun Woo officially entered the Korea Army Training Center in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do, on July 28. After completing basic military training, he will serve in the military band unit of the Korean Army. His discharge is scheduled for January 2027.
