NEXZ, the rookie boy group under JYP Entertainment, has unveiled the first video of their performance project ‘NEXZ Archive 2025’, surprising fans with fresh content and sharp choreography.
On July 29th at 8 PM KST, JYP dropped the signature performance video titled ‘NEXZ Archive 2025 | ChillLit Choreography | Hey Julie! (feat. Lil Yachty) – KYLE’ on NEXZ’s official social media channels. The ‘NEXZ Archive’ series, which began even before their official debut, features collaborations with renowned dancers and choreographers. The project was recently teased in the kickoff video ‘NEXZ “NEXTEP 2025”’, hinting at the group’s performance-centered roadmap for the year.
In the first installment of ‘NEXZ Archive 2025’, the group teams up with dance crew ChillLit to perform KYLE’s “Hey Julie! (feat. Lil Yachty).” Members Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, Sogun, Seita, Huey, and Yuki show off their fluid lines, rhythm, and groove to the track’s bouncy beat. Their synchronized yet expressive moves, combined with the sporty, youthful energy of the gymnasium set, highlight their status as a “next-generation performance powerhouse.”
Since making their global debut in May 2024 with their first single ‘Ride the Vibe’, NEXZ has shown steady growth. Their second Korean mini album ‘O-RLY?’, released in April, topped weekly album charts on Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart. In July, they achieved first place on both the Oricon Daily Album Ranking and Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales chart with their second Japanese EP ‘One Bite’ (released July 15th).
Currently, the group is on their debut live tour, ‘NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2025 “One Bite”’, which began in June in Kanagawa. On July 18–19, they successfully held their first solo concert at the legendary Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. Riding this momentum, they will continue the tour in Fukuoka (August 13), Hiroshima (August 14), Tochigi (August 16), and Osaka (August 20–21).
