Tensions among former miss A members are once again in the spotlight after Min’s recent wedding, where Suzy was notably absent.
On June 7 (KST), Min married a non-celebrity businessman in a private ceremony held in Seoul. The event was attended by numerous celebrities and former labelmates, including Jo Kwon, Jang Woo Young, Ok Taec Yeon, Sunye, Amber Liu, Kim Jae Joong, and Park Joon Hyung. Former miss A members Fei and Jia were also present and shared their congratulations on social media, showing their continued friendship with Min.
However, Suzy’s absence was impossible to ignore. She not only missed the ceremony, but also refrained from posting any public message congratulating Min, which fueled renewed speculation of a fallout within the group.
This isn’t the first time such rumors have surfaced. Back in 2015, Suzy was the only member who didn’t attend Jia’s birthday party, prompting online discussions of possible bullying. Fans have long pointed out that Suzy does not follow other miss A members on social media and has repeatedly skipped celebrating their birthdays online, despite publicly acknowledging those of other colleagues.

In a past interview, Suzy hinted at friction during her debut, stating that her short training period compared to the other members led to feelings of discomfort. “I was happy to debut with the older members, but at the same time, I was worried,” she shared, alluding to a complicated team dynamic.
Some netizens have directly commented on Suzy’s recent social media posts, asking, “Why didn’t you attend Min’s wedding?”
However, others are pushing back, arguing that even bringing up Suzy in this context could be disrespectful and burdensome to both her and Min. As opinions remain sharply divided, online debate around the situation continues to intensify.
What’s most unfortunate is that Min’s wedding—a day that should have been filled with nothing but joy—is now being overshadowed by controversy.
