On June 8, an incident involving Hearts2Hearts and their security team at Incheon International Airport sparked controversy after a video surfaced online. The footage showed a security guard forcefully pushing a woman by her neck and striking her face with his elbow, leading to accusations of excessive force.
According to reports, the woman protested, claiming she had a valid boarding pass, while the security guard accused her of physically pushing Hearts2Hearts’s members. The altercation continued inside the airport shuttle train, further escalating tensions.

In response to the backlash, SM Entertainment defended its security team, stating that the woman was a stalker fan who had persistently attempted to physically approach and push the members. The company acknowledged that the security guard’s reaction was excessive but emphasized that it was an attempt to protect the artists.
SM Entertainment further stated that it had raised concerns with the security firm and demanded measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. The agency also apologized for the disturbance and assured the public that it would work to maintain order in public spaces during artist movements.
