The popular webtoon-based series 'S-Line' will be exclusively released on Wavve.
'S-Line' (written and directed by Ahn Joo Young) is set to premiere next month as a Wavve original series. On June 12, a poster was unveiled, showing characters connected by a red line.
'S-Line' is a fantasy thriller; the story revolves around a mysterious phenomenon where a red line appears above the heads of people who have had physical relationships. It is based on the webtoon of the same name.
The original work comes from webtoon artist Kkomabi, known for titles like 'A Killer Paradox' and 'Pending Case.' 'S-Line' is considered one of Kkomabi’s most iconic works, praised for its unique worldview and insightful storytelling.
A captivating cast brings the webtoon to life. Lee Soo Hyuk plays Han Ji Wook, a detective pursuing the truth behind the S-Line. Lee Da Hee stars as Gyujin, a quirky high school teacher.
Arin takes on the role of Hyunheup, a high school student born with the ability to see the S-Line. Lee Eun Saem plays Seon Ah, Ji Wook’s niece and Hyunheup’s classmate.
'S-Line' has already earned critical acclaim. In April, it won Best Music in the long-form competition at the 8th Cannes International Series Festival.
