EXID’s Hani, who postponed her wedding to psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong following controversy over a patient's death, shared a glimpse of how she is calming her mind. Her journey of self-discovery through yoga has been met with an outpouring of support.
On May 22, Hani posted several photos of herself practicing yoga on social media, along with the caption, "Just do as much as you can. That phrase felt so comforting, it made me fall in love with yoga."
In the photos, Hani is seen fully immersed in yoga. Wearing form-fitting athletic wear, she appears serene and composed as she focuses on inner peace.
She wrote, “Just doing as much as I can? That’s always been hard for me. Of course, in yoga, the asanas are important, and being able to perform them is important too. But for me, yoga is time to practice doing only as much as I can.”
She added, “I’m slowly learning how to be kind to myself. I breathed today, I flowed, and that was enough.”
Hani halted her activities after a patient died at Yang Jae Woong’s clinic in May last year. The patient, referred to as A, had been hospitalized for diet pill addiction treatment and passed away after 17 days.
The death came to light two months later, sparking speculation and claims that Hani, who was engaged to Yang Jae Woong, must have known. As a result, she stepped back from public activities and withdrew from a scheduled variety show appearance. Hani and Yang Jae Woong have since indefinitely postponed their wedding due to the incident.
