IVE's Jang Won Young is set to make her acting debut through a short advertisement film for Jim Beam.
On May 22, Jim Beam released the official trailer for the mystery thriller short film titled 'The Shadow of the Disappearing Time,' starring Jang Won Young and actor Park Jung Min. The teaser forshadows an ominous aura through the narrative, "The woman who disappeared a year ago, reappeared in front of me. The one who tries to reveal the secret of the location of her appearances, and the one who tries desperately to hide it. The truth revealed after a year."
In different scenes, Jang Won Young is seen softly smiling, showcasing her beauty and an enigmatic vibe of hiding something, while Park Jung Min is portrayed as the one trying to uncover the truth.
The short film is set to premiere on June 9, and fans are already thrilled about seeing Jang Won Young's first acting. They commented, "So I guess this was the reason there were mentions about acting," "This is only an ad right? I wouldn't consider it acting," "She still gives off that idol vibe so she looks awkward," "She looks so pretty," "I thought it was a real movie.
