The two stars began chatting without knowing each other’s identity, communicating only through a messaging platform.
The only clues they had were each other's phone lock screens. During the interview, Choi Soo Young joked, “There’s this rumor that if a Million Miler doesn’t board, the plane won’t take off,” playfully referring to her status as a frequent flyer with an elite level of mileage.
As the topic of mileage came up, Ryeoun asked with a grin, “How many years have you been flying? How old are you?” Choi Soo Young responded, laughing, “I wasn’t born in the ’80s.” Ryeoun, teasing her, said, “The ’70s, then?”
The conversation shifted to music as the two shared their playlists. Choi Soo Young said, “I listen to ‘The Princess’s Rules.’ Every day, I tell myself, ‘I’m a princess.’ It’s like self-hypnosis.” Ryeoun, clearly amused, replied, “Are you a princess? When Ryeoun asked about her travel habits, Choi Soo Young shared, “I don’t travel as much now, but I’ve always loved traveling, so I used to fly a lot.” Ryeoun responded, “You must have a lot of mileage. I’m jealous.” Curious, Choi Soo Young asked Ryeoun about his airline membership status. After hearing his tier, she teased, “It’s lower than mine. I’m an MM, have you heard of a Million Miler?”
The title “Million Miler” is given to frequent flyers who’ve accumulated over one million miles with Korean airlines, representing an exclusive group of travelers. Choi Soo Young’s pride in her status added a lighthearted and charming touch to the conversation.
