He was named TC Candler’s “Most Handsome Face of 2017,” topped the "Top 100 Most Attractive Asian Men" list for three consecutive years, and has consistently ranked first in Google Trends’ “Most Handsome Man” searches over the past decade.

A Brazilian pop culture critic once called V “an icon of Eastern culture who transcends the traditional macho image of the West,” applauding his role in broadening global beauty standards.
