aespa's Karina may be the new ambassador for MLB.
Multiple sources have confirmed that Karina has been selected as MLB's new ambassador after her photos were posted on the fashion brand's social media accounts. Additionally, the brand also posted photos of Karina with the caption, "Next Level Charm," on the MLB Korea account and has installed billboard ads of the idol.
Full-body shots of Karina were also shared on multiple Asia-based social media accounts for the brand, sparking speculation that Karina has been chosen as the new ambassador for MLB Asia.
Although there has not been an official announcement from MLB, many are already certain that the idol will be the new face for the brand.
Meanwhile, aespa previously worked with MLB Korea in 2022, but were embroiled in a controversy after the brand had omitted individual photos of Giselle. Aespa fans were outraged as Giselle's individual images were nowhere to be found on the MLB official home page styling guide. While individual images of the other three members - Karina, Winter, and Ningning - were displayed on the home page, Giselle appeared only in the group photo.
The official announcement of Karina's selection as the new ambassador is expected to be made on May 8.
