As of March 29, Netflix has released a character introduction video for its upcoming Korean thriller series 'Karma,' set to premiere on April 4. The series follows six individuals entangled in inescapable ties of ill fate, weaving a dark and intense crime narrative.
Kim Nam Gil takes on the role of Jung Min, a fellow doctor and romantic partner to Joo Yeon (played by Shin Min Ah). As Joo Yeon confronts her traumatic past and is pulled back into a vicious cycle of unresolved connections, Jung Min stands by her side, offering quiet strength and support.
In the newly released footage, Jung Min is seen standing in a shadowy alleyway, his expression hinting at something ominous he may have witnessed. The eerie atmosphere raises questions about his true involvement in the web of misfortune that ensnares Joo Yeon.
Director Lee Il Hyung commented, “Thanks to Kim Nam Gil, the character of Jung Min has become much richer and more compelling.” Shin Min Ah, who stars opposite Kim, shared her thoughts on filming with him: “He was always cheerful on set and really lifted the mood. It made the experience comfortable and enjoyable.”
'Karma' stars Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, Lee Hee Joon, Gong Seung Yeon, Lee Kwang Soo, and Kim Sung Kyun. Written and directed by Lee Il Hyung, known for A Violent Prosecutor and Remember, the series focuses on high-stakes missions and the intense, character-driven moments of those determined to break through adversity.
'Karma' will be available on Netflix starting April 4 at 4 PM (KST).
