Moon Se Yoon will conclude his exclusive contract with FNC Entertainment in May 2026 KST, ending an 11-year partnership that began in May 2015. As the 2021 KBS Entertainment Awards Grand Prize winner, he is expected to be a highly sought-after free agent. He currently maintains a strong presence on major television programs, including KBS2's '2 Days & 1 Night', tvN's 'Amazing Saturday', and ComedyTV's 'The Tasty Guys'.
His departure follows FNC Entertainment's official withdrawal from the variety and broadcaster management sector. On January 16, 2026, the agency announced it would pivot its focus toward music, actor management, and drama production to improve profitability. This strategic shift marks a complete reversal from the company’s aggressive expansion in 2015, which was highlighted by the high-profile signing of industry giant Yoo Jae Suk.
The variety division reached its peak after its KOSDAQ listing, managing stars such as Jung Hyung Don, Lee Guk Joo, Ji Suk Jin, and Song Eun Yi. However, the department's influence began to diminish following several key departures in 2021. With Moon Se Yoon's upcoming exit, FNC Entertainment will officially dismantle its broadcasting management operations, ending a decade-long era as a major player in the variety talent market.
