Yoo Jae Suk is reviving a segment from one of the most beloved shows on the Korean variety, 'Infinite Challenge.' This time, Yoo Jae Suk will be taking over Park Myung Soo's role.
On March 21, MBC’s 'Hangout with Yoo' announced, “The legendary variety show segment 'Infinite Challenge – Surprise Attack' is making a comeback after 16 years.”
In 2009, 'Infinite Challenge' featured Park Myung Soo leading the Surprise Attack mission, where he visited struggling restaurants affected by the economic downturn and helped them reach their target sales by eating. Now, 16 years later, the revived Surprise Attack will be led by Yoo Jae Suk.
To support small business owners facing economic hardships, the Hangout with Yoo members, led by Yoo Jae Suk, will put the motto “Support by Eating” into action.
Yoo Jae Suk, taking on the role of an undercover inspector, holds a launch ceremony for his secret task force and boldly declares the start of the Surprise Attack. The team then embarks on an intense food marathon, eating through multiple rounds in a battle against the food itself. Arriving at restaurants without the owners’ knowledge, their mission is to bring smiles back to the struggling restaurant owners.
The episode airs on the 22nd at 6:30 PM.
