Global pop sensation XG, the acclaimed female septet featuring members JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA, has made a dazzling debut in McDonald’s latest TV commercial. The commercial, which premiered on Japanese television on February 10, sees the group stepping into a futuristic, space-themed McDonald’s store, dubbed "McDonald's GALAXY," where they don unique, alien-inspired outfits and join ALPHAZ for a vibrant #FandomFeast. This innovative campaign extends beyond the screen with the release of the web movie "Fandom Feast (McDonald's Live Party)" and a series of three new TV spots, inviting fans to join a live McDonald’s party where they can share in the excitement alongside their favorite artists.
Adding an interactive twist, XG is set to host the "#FandomFeast: McFries Feast" live event on McDonald’s official TikTok and YouTube channels on February 19, where they will share McDonald’s French Fries with viewers. To celebrate, a special McDonald's GALAXY Exhibition will be held at Hakkakukan in Harajuku from February 19 to 23, offering fans exclusive access to the outfits worn by XG and behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot. The commercial also features a remixed version of XG’s hit track "IN THE RAIN (McDonald's REMIXX)," a fresh take on the song from their second mini-album 'AWE' that originally made waves on the Billboard 200.
Fresh from their Nagoya performances during the "XG 1st WORLD TOUR 'The first HOWL'," the group is continuing their Japan tour with stops in Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Osaka. In February, they will head to Australia, and in March, the girls will head to China. Later this year, XG plans to expand into South America. In a historic milestone, XG will also become the only Japanese artist to perform at 'Coachella 2025,' further cementing their global appeal.
