It has been reported that Park Soo Hong has applied for a provisional seizure of property to the court against his older brother, Park Jin Hong.

Park Soo Hong's legal representative attorney Noh Jeon Eon spoke with YTN on October 21 and explained, "There will be no major issues in getting back (Park Soo Hong's) assets." The attorney also spoke about the difference in the scale of embezzlement claimed by the prosecution, Park Soo Hong, and Park Jin Hong. He explained, "The details can only be confirmed after reviewing the indictment after the first trial date. The trial date has not been set yet."

The lawyer added, "Regardless of the criminal case, all measures to take back the assets such as a provisional seizure have already been placed through the civil case. There won't be a huge issue in taking back any assets from the embezzlement."

Previously, Park Jin Hong denied all the allegations, but during the investigation that took place on October 10, Park Soo Hong's brother admitted to some of the allegations and admitted that he had embezzled 1.9 billion KRW (~1.33 million USD).

Park Jin Hong is indicted on charges of embezzling company money, and his wife is also indicted without detention on the charges of embezzlement. Park Soo Hong has claimed a total of 10 billion KRW in damages (~7 million KRW), but the prosecution is claiming 6.17 billion KRW  (4.3 million USD) in damages.
