Several fully vaccinated people I know recently tested positive so Covid is very much still circulating. Fortunately, their symptoms were mild. Unfortunately, because their symptoms were mild, they accidentally passed it on to others before realizing they were infected. The vaccine won't prevent you from being infected but it will increase the chances of not ending up in the hospital (or dying). Personally, I'm still doing all the preventative measures because I don't want to get it at all, if possible.

the new variations like BA.4 and BA.5 are very resistant to the "old vaccines" as those vaccines are created from early varies like Delta, or early Omnicron variations like BA.1 but the newer ones like BA.4, BA.5 and even the latest sub variant BA.2.75 are something the vaccine is not good against, though they may reduce the severity of the condition.

Currently the speed of spread is making it hard for vaccines types to catch up.. but maybe as most of the world is vaccinated and/or has caught it.. the immune system is slowly trained to adapt to this virus and the spread will eventually slow down and i wish it will be gone by late 2023 or 2024.
