South Korean actress Seol In Ah suffered an ankle injury while filming the tvN variety program ‘Iron Girls 2’, it was revealed on August 5.
According to reports, Seol was injured during a recent shoot and was immediately taken to the hospital. Though she initially had difficulty walking, she is currently undergoing outpatient treatment and is said to be recovering steadily.
The production team released an official statement:
“Seol In Ah felt discomfort in her ankle during filming and was moved to a hospital. While no bone fractures were found, continued discomfort led to a recommendation for physical therapy and rest. Future participation in filming will depend on her recovery progress.”
Seol In Ah was a cast member of Season 1 of Iron Girls, where she gained attention for tackling extreme triathlon challenges alongside Uee, Park Joo Hyun, and Jin Seo Yeon. In Season 2, which premiered last month, the cast shifts focus to boxing, with Seol showcasing impressive skills and drawing praise from viewers.
It remains uncertain whether Seol will return to the show during the remainder of the season.
