Girls’ Generation members gathered to celebrate their 18th debut anniversary, delighting fans with behind-the-scenes moments shared by Taeyeon and Sunny on August 5 KST.
Taeyeon posted several candid photos on Instagram, captioning them:
“So happy to be with my friends. Happy birthday Girls’ Generation. Happy birthday, Fany too.”
The photos featured all eight members — Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany Young, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun — reunited in celebration. Even Sunny, who had spent time abroad, joined the gathering, making the reunion feel extra special.
Taeyeon’s post included playful moments, including snaps of her dozing off or goofing around at the event. Fans welcomed the rare glimpse into their close-knit bond.
Sunny also shared her own set of group photos, writing:

Girls’ Generation debuted on August 5, 2007, and became one of the most iconic K-pop girl groups of all time. After the release of their seventh full-length album in 2022, the members have continued with individual activities in music, acting, and broadcasting.
