IVE's Wonyoung scrapes her knee during the performance

AKP STAFF

IVE's Wonyoung scraped her knee during the group's performance at the 'WELCOME K-POP CLICK' concert.

On January 15th, the 'Welcome K-POP CLICK' concert took place in Seoul to celebrate the launch of the new K-pop platform, 'K-POP CLICK'. Popular K-pop artists including IVE, MONSTA X, ONEUS, CRAVITY, and more performed at the concert.

IVE performed their official debut title song "Eleven", along with "Take It" and covered Fifth Harmony's "That's My Girl". The accident reportedly happened during the group's performance of "That's My Girl".

After Wonyoung did choreography with her knee on the floor (around the 1:36 mark), she was seen with blood on her knee. Despite noticing her knee injury (around the 2:50 mark), however, she managed to finish her performance.

After the performance, Wonyoung was seen with blood on her finger which seemed to have transferred from her knee. Fortunately, it was reported her injury was nothing more than a scrape on her knee. Fans are now demanding better safety management of the stage before any artists' performance.

Get well soon, Wonyoung.

What was on the stage to be able to cut her knee like that?? Usually it would of just been a floor burn but something didn't get cleaned up

The same thing happened recently to Sumin from StayC but it didn't make the news. but obviously this is an actual issue if it's happened twice in just the past couple months during stage performances. Seems like they aren't cleaning the staged good enough or the edge of the tile material is coming up. Either way the company owning the stage needs to maintain the stage properly to prevent this in the future.
