30 million KRW (26.7 million USD) drama production 'Prometheus', headed by JL Media Group, confirmed to news outlets on July 13 that Jin Goo has decided to join the cast as the male lead.
The drama is a fictional spin on North Korea's current situation to practice denuclearization. In the process of transporting various North Korean nuclear scientists abroad, the scientists go missing, and insiders in the North Korean government and military forces must work together to resolve the mystery.
Jin Goo will be working alongside female lead Ha Ji Won for the action-packed drama. 'Prometheus', currently still carrying out casting, is scheduled to premiere at the end of 2018.
