Yang Hyun Suk has been fined for building violations.
Back in 2014, Yang Hyun Suk was caught illegally expanding his 6-story building near YG Entertainment in Seoul. According to the prosecutor on July 20, Yang Hyun Suk has been issued a fine of 3,000,000 KRW (~2,680 USD) for the building violations.

An insider explained, "He has been issued a fine as the charges are not significant enough for a trial or arrest."
In August of 2016, Yang Hyun Suk was troubled again for building violations as he was caught altering the purpose of his building without following the proper procedures.
