Lee Jong Suk and his agency addressed rumors of him enlisting for the military soon.
On July 21, YG Entertainment stated, "It's true that a warrant for his enlistment for the military has come. However, the exact timing of the enlistment has not yet been determined." The rumor came to light after Lee Jong Suk decided not to be part of the film 'Witch', after which many people suspected it may have been due to him going to the military.
YG Entertainment added, "Regardless of the enlistment issue, the actor simply desired to rest and hence decided not take take part in the film."
