On January 18, a viral online community post featured a collage of photos containing trainees and potential candidates for SM's next girl group along with their names and ages. Rami born in 2003, Ning Ning in 2002, Hyerin in 2002, Hina in 2000, Go Eun in 1999, Lee Yang in 1997, and Park Jung Yeon in 1997.

The poster quipped, "Unless you're the very best, it seems they [SM] won't be choosing from 99'ers anymore. They even have trainees who are 2005'ers."

Upon viewing the list netizens have been making various comments from positive to negative:

"It seems SM is slowly coming back again."

"SM's been backstabbed by the Chinese numerous times, they can't get their senses together."

"SM is all about the visuals but these girls are so average."

"You guys are talking smack about them now, watch when they debut they will go from ugly ducklings to beautiful swans. Let's see how the comments are then!"

"It would be a real shame if those girls worked so hard but don't make it in the end.  There's probably a lot of talented people out there....Wonder who's going to make it out alive."

Wait what? Like is that anti blind. These girls are plenty good-looking. Also, that anti throwing shade at SM's China line needs to sit down. That's a huge insult to all the Chinese artist that are still with them. SM isn't giving up on China so they can get over it. Just because some people left doesn't mean that they shouldn't give others a chance. This is like the whole let's not allow refugees because they're all terrorists mindset.  You can't hold a whole people accountable for the actions of a few. Anyone who wants to shade SM for continuing to debut Chinese people obviously doesn't know how business works.

How about SM focus on promoting the groups they already have (cough f(x) cough) before debuting a new group

they are pretty

yea i hate SM, other than making a new group to compete with twice or BTS, maybe try focusing on your groups NOW! F(X) and Red velvet are treated like scrap! SM gave up on Red velvet after one of these nights, bloody hell red velvet has so much potential

Lami and NingNing are my faves. They are REALLY pretty like WOW.

Whoever said that they're ugly is just jealous because they got a chance at such a young age. Just wait until Lami is in her 20s. I bet she will become the most beautiful visual.

They are all younger than me :O people always complain that SM focuses too much on visuals and now they complain that these girls aren't pretty enough...

kokoko Friday, January 20, 2017

seriously, people? Ugly ducklings?? Saying they will grow up beautiful??? I really don't get it... I think they are very pretty right now... How can anyone say they are ugly?

I know right we must be looking at different girls cuz they are all very pretty. People are blind if they cant see that. Jealous haters be nuts

" when they debut they will go from ugly ducklings to beautiful swans." Seriously? Ugly ducklings?! Netizens, your standards are impossible. These girls are beautiful. Sure, they will mature and go from girls to women, but they can't get much more stunning than they already are.
