Miryo explained why she decided to drop out of high school despite being a good student.

On the December 21 episode of 'Prodigy Discovery Team,' the rapper revealed that she became a high school dropout because of Seo Taiji's influence.

During the show, the MCs were shocked by Miryo's great academic records. She explained, "In middle school, I was selected as 'gifted' by the city. I always scored the highest in my class." The rapper also explained that she studied Japanese on her own.

However, Miryo suddenly left high school, surprising everyone. She explained, "Because of my academics, nobody thought that I would do music. But ever since I was young, I wanted to pursue music. When I found out that my idol, Seo Taiji, dropped out of high school, saying, 'You don't need to go to college to do music,' I agreed with him, so I also dropped out."

ignorant people, what miryo's saying is she trusted her dreams enough to leave it all for something greater... a lot of famous singers have done that

no unie you need college

BakaKaori Thursday, December 22, 2016

You don't need a college degree or high school degree to do music. But what happens when you can't do music? What happens when you can't get signed to an agency, or if even after debuting you're not successful?

But you always need a plan B. Besides BEG ain't doing a thing these days.

I know she wanted music, but that logic is not healthy at all. I know it might be different in my country than yours, where you have no future in any subject in life unless you end your whole education years!! But sometimes you have to think about your future, you know they will not be idols (or musicians forever!) specially in kpop, idols mostly leave the stage after 10 years maximum! So what after that? there most be something that saves them like other optional job to afford money! Staying 3 years in college at young age, is better than staying jobless old man/woman!!

If I stay in college while I'm young, I'm still gonna be an old jobless man when I grow up tf

Mystica Jishook Thursday, December 22, 2016

I am not generalizing LOL. you could get part-time job btw! I am just saying what I think, AND! what do you mean by you will be jobless when you continue your study? OF COURSE YOU'LL HAVE MORE CHANCES TO FIND JOBS period. I won't reply far than that!
