ITZY has just made a selfless contribution to children in need.
On August 22, JYP Entertainment announced that girl group ITZY had successfully made a number of picture books by hand, to be donated to sick children in the Philippines. The volunteer activity was done through JYP's charity initiative EDM (Every Dream Matters). The agency stated that ITZY's picture books would be sent to children who are undergoing medical treatment, and that the children would also receive financial support with their medical treatment costs from EDM.
The agency posted a full statement, alongside a heartwarming photo of ITZY with the picture books they made:
"EDM Volunteer Activity:
ITZY has made picture books for children who are supported by EDM's overseas medical expense assistance program.
The EDM picture books, crafted with heartfelt care by ITZY, are set to be delivered to children in the Philippines who are receiving EDM's overseas medical expense support.
We send our wishes that the children undergoing treatment recover both physically and mentally and achieve good health. We hope ITZY's warm encouragement provides a small source of strength.
