Shin Dong Wook makes appearance for the first time in 6 years after suffering a rare illness

Actor Shin Dong Wook returned to the screens for the first time in 6 years!

Back in 2010, Shin Dong Wook announced that he would be taking a break from his career after he was diagnosed with a rare illness called the Complex Regional Pain Syndrome / Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (CRPS). 

The actor, who appeared on dramas 'Stars Falling From the Sky', 'Soulmate' and more, was unable to seen on screens since then.

Then finally, on November 16, fans saw Shin Dong Wook after his long, 6 year hiatus. He greeted fans through a short live broadcast that was aired during the recording for JTBC's 'Busking'.

Shin Dong Wook smiled brightly at the camera and said, "Hello. Come see us." He also showed a surprise face when the panelists told him that his greeting was aired live on the spot.
