The '2016 Korean Pop Culture and Arts Awards' recognized and celebrated some of the most important individuals in entertainment celebrities who helped Korea's pop culture shine.

Winners included SHINee, G-Dragon, BoA, and Hwang Chi Yeol, who were awarded for their creative works in the industry, as well as for their roles in spreading Korean culture and K-Pop all over the globe.
Upon receiving the award, SHINee's Key thanked the public and the fans everywhere for their support for SHINee's work. He stated, "We will work harder to advance the pop culture."
Some of the other winners were the following: Lee Kwang Soo , Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo, Yoo Ah In, Jo Jung Suk, Hwang Jung Eum, Jo Jin Woong, Ock Joo Hyun
