The '2016 Korean Pop Culture and Arts Awards' recognized and celebrated some of the most important individuals in entertainment celebrities who helped Korea's pop culture shine.

Winners included SHINee, G-Dragon, BoA, and Hwang Chi Yeol, who were awarded for their creative works in the industry, as well as for their roles in spreading Korean culture and K-Pop all over the globe.�
Upon receiving the award, SHINee's Key thanked the public and the fans everywhere for their support for SHINee's work. He stated, "We will work harder to advance the pop culture."�
