IU reunites with the child version of Geum Myung from 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' for Children's Day, surprising the young actress with a gift

Grown-up Geum Myung reunited with child Geum Myung to celebrate National Children's Day (May 5) in Korea!

On May 2 KST, child actress Ahn Tae Rin's mother wrote on Instagram, "How can a person's heart be so vast and their mind so thoughtful TT. It was such an unbelievable and unexpected reunion that it felt like a fairy tale. Thank you so much." 

In a set of photos accompanying the post, the child actress who played the child version of Geum Myung in the Netflix series 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' posed for a sweet selca with IU, the grown-up version of Geum Myung. In another photo, Ahn Tae Rin held up a gift box with a bright smile, thanking IU for the Children's Day gift. 

Meanwhile, IU is well-known for sending generous gifts to people she has worked with each year on major South Korean holidays.
