
Comedian Lee Se Young has expressed her gratitude to friends and colleagues who offered their condolences after the recent passing of her grandmother.
On April 30, Lee shared the news through her social media account, writing, “My beloved grandmother, the one I loved most in the world. Thanks to everyone’s support, I was able to send her off with love.”
She also posted a photo showing condolence wreaths sent by friends and fellow entertainers, including comedy veterans Yoo Jae Suk and Moon Se Yoon, which drew public attention.
Lee continued, “I never expected it... Thank you to everyone who visited, reached out, helped me in ways I didn’t even realize, and blessed my grandmother’s final journey with flowers. I’m deeply grateful,” adding, “Starting in May, I’ll gather strength again and do my best to return the kindness I’ve received. Thank you so, so much.”
Debuting in 2011 as part of MBN’s first generation of comedians, Lee Se Young has appeared in various comedy programs including 'SNL Korea,' and transitioned into acting with a role in the hit drama 'Reply 1988.' She currently runs a YouTube channel called 'Yeongpyeong TV.'
