As incidents of fake reservations made by individuals impersonating the production team of the popular KBS variety show '2 Days & 1 Night' continue to surge, the show's staff has issued an official statement urging the public to be cautious.
On April 28, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team posted on their official social media, stating, "There have been cases where individuals impersonate our staff, make group reservations at local restaurants, and then fail to show up without notice."
In these "No-shows," someone makes a reservation but does not show up without any prior cancellation or notice. Although the reservations were not actually made by the production team, the affected restaurants have been reaching out to KBS to verify their legitimacy.
In response, the '2 Days & 1 Night' staff clarified, “We have absolutely no connection to these impersonation acts, and we have not made any official reservation requests.” They also added, “We are currently taking strong legal action against such fraudulent activities.”
Furthermore, they urged anyone who receives suspicious communication claiming to be from the production team to verify the information through the KBS Viewer Hotline.
The production team added, “We will do our best to prevent such unfortunate incidents from happening again,” and asked for continued understanding and cooperation from viewers and businesses involved.
'2 Days & 1 Night' is a long-running reality-variety show that has been loved since its debut in 2007. The program features cast members traveling across Korea to experience and showcase regional culture and cuisine while completing various missions. It airs every Sunday at 6:10 PM.

Below is the full official statement from the '2 Days & 1 Night' production team:
