After School's Raina, EXID's Hyerin, and former 5dolls member Eunkyo appeared as guests on this week's episode of 'Pajamae Party', a talk show hosted by YouTuber Kim Ddol Ddol.
On this episode, Kim Ddol Ddol invited these 2.5 generation K-Pop idols to some girl talk over snacks and drinks, asking juicy questions about how K-Pop idols used to date one another back in the day.
First, to a question about how K-Pop idols communicated with one another without phones and free from company interference, Raina explained, "We always communicated through email. But the trick was, the two people who were dating used the same email account. So one person logged into the account, left a message in a draft, posted a selca, and then the other person logged in later, read the message that was left behind, and if it said something like 'Let's meet at this location at this time', then you had to go and meet them there. But if you missed the message, then you couldn't meet."

Kim Ddol Ddol did not miss out on the opportunity to dig deeper into Raina's past relationship. He asked, "How did you meet that person? Was he an idol?", to which Raina answered, "He approached me and said that he liked me first. Yes, he was an idol, which was why his company took his phone."
The After School member then continued, "When we were dating, we got caught and had to break up. But we just figured out a way to date again. See, there's no point in companies being strict about idols dating. The stricter the company gets, the more idols catch 'Romeo and Juliet Disease'. If they force you to break up, you feel so wronged and like you have to keep on seeing each other no matter what. If you leave the idols alone, they'll break up naturally."
Next, Kim Ddol Ddol asked all three girls if it was true that the entertainment industry was like "the animal kingdom", with every celebrity taking turns dating every other celebrity. To this, Raina replied, "It's true that you develop affection for people who are in your field. But I think this is truly a matter of 'it's different for each person'. In any group, there are people who are one way, and people who are another way. Yes, there are some idols who go around dating different members of the same group. But that's the minority, not the majority."
Hyerin also shared an anecdote from her days with EXID, commenting, "When idols go perform overseas, they typically get together for gossip. All the male idols get together in one room, and all the female idols get together in another room. And then they start naming people, idols of the opposite sex, and if you've dated that person, then you have to raise your hand. That was the subject of their gossip."
