
A South Korean man in his twenties was arrested in Kyoto, Japan for illegally filming the inside of a woman's skirt.
According to Japanese media outlet reports on May 2 JST, a South Korean man known as 'A' (23) was apprehended by local police a day earlier on May 1 for illegal filming. While visiting Kyoto on a guided tour, 'A' attempted to film the inside of the skirts worn by 2 women, also fellow South Korean tourists. 'A' was spotted committing his crime by another tourist, and the group's tour guide immediately called the police.
'A' admitted to his crimes during his questioning, stating, "I wanted to view the footage by myself. It was done out of the desire to find momentary thrill and to fulfill my curiosity."
Meanwhile, previously in January of this year, a South Korean male in his teens was arrested for sexually assaulting a Japanese high school student in Osaka, Japan, while on a vacation trip.
