After the most recently aired episode of drama 'Doctors', viewers expressed complaints toward lead actress Park Shin Hye, who was spotted with long, pink nail art on her hands.

One viewers claimed that it was unrealistic for a doctor to wear nail art on the job, writing, "Even if this is just a drama and people usually have certain reserves about that, I still wonder if it's okay for a doctor, and a surgeon at that, to have such extravagant nail art. It's evidence that [her nail art] is keeping me from being absorbed in the drama."

SBS has since issued an apology for the matter, saying, "We talked about her nails with Park Shin Hye before the drama began. But because they didn't seem too flashy, we weren't able to consider their effects on the drama. We accept the criticism that it took away from the realistic aspect, and will take greater care until the end."

what's really unrealistic is when they do all theses assessments with NO GLOVES ON.

I work in a hospital. Medical staff are allowed to have their nails polished as long as it is gel!

I know lots of doctors who paint their nails. Big deal. Yet another example of Korean netizens being huge tamper throwing piss babies.

Its a shame because the drama shows such believable and good surgical procedures but PSH's attire doesn't seem practical at all esp her high heels i mean isn't it so uncomfortable to wear such high heels in a hospital?

I laughed good reading that. Some doctors have french manicures. Deal with it. But the severe lack of scrubs is shocking!

Who notices that stuff tho

No way would a doctor have long nails for one, and number too, they certainly would not have "objects" on those nails. How stupid do they think the viewers are? PSH I am so disappointed that you are letting your vanity overshadow you acting. Please, we KNOW you are beautiful, you don't have to do these things to make us like you more! Please, just be good at your job, like all of us have to be.

*Number TWO.....

Bro she's an actress not an actual surgeon lmfao

ElNora kellin Thursday, August 11, 2016

......still, she is portraying a doctor. At least ACT like one.....hope that doesn't fly over your head...

Oh come on, that's barely even noticeable when there's something much more important to focus on,  such as her patient being on the verge of death. If anything, you guys should be focusing on her outfits. A doctor wearing heels and dresses? Now THATS not realistic. But I rather see her in glam than looking like a hot mess.

I commented on her clothes WAY early in the series. Drama and reality are MILES apart in this one.
