Despite the success of her latest movie 'The Handmaiden', Kim Min Hee skipped out on the ceremony, and as a result, director Lee Hyun Seung went on stage on behalf of the actress, giving a short speech. Kim Min Hee's absence is assumed to have been affected by her affair with director Hong Sang Soo. In fact, ever since the news broke out in June, Kim Min Hee has not made any public appearances at all.
