On July 1, actress Lee Si Young shared that she and her son will be spending a month living in the United States.
She posted on her personal social media account with the caption "US" and a Statue of Liberty emoji, indicating their current location. In her message, she wrote, "I still vividly remember visiting the Empire State Building with my mom, dad, and older brother when I was in elementary school. Now I’m back here with my own elementary school-aged son. It feels surreal. Time really flies... haha."
Accompanying the post were several photos showing Lee embracing her eight-year-old son. The two were seen enjoying the view from an observation deck and walking hand in hand through the streets of the U.S., clearly enjoying their time together.
Lee added, "Jung Yoon, one whole month in the U.S.! Let’s have the most fun, happy, and exciting time together!" making it clear that their stay is not just a short trip but a full month-long experience.
Lee Si Young married a restaurateur in September 2017 and gave birth to their son in January 2018. However, the couple divorced this past March after eight years of marriage. Her son, now seven years old, is currently attending an international school in Songdo, which has gained attention for its high tuition costs, reportedly totaling over $430,000 for the full high school program.
Lee is currently appearing in the new ENA Monday and Tuesday drama 'Salon de Holmes.'
