A representative from The Legend's side stated, "This past July 7, we have filed lawsuits asking to nullify The Legend's contracts with SS Entertainment. According to the contract, SS Entertainment should have been doing everything in its power to help The Legend grow and improve in skills and talents, but they are not in a situation where they are able to do so. The Legend have been unable to receive lessons, which are key to an idol's career. In addition, other employees of the label in charge of aiding The Legend's activities have also been unpaid and are resigning. The employees themselves have also filed lawsuits against SS Entertainment."

The rep continued, "After signing the contract, SS Entertainment failed to provide managers or transportation for The Legend, and because they constantly failed to pay the utility bill at the dorm in time, the gas has been cut off several times. Currently, there is no electricity. According to the contract, The Legend must also receive a settlement table every 3 months, but SS Entertainment has so far only provided The Legend with two settlement tables, but even those had numerous flaws. When the group asked for recreated ones, the contents of the settlement tables changed. Afterward, The Legend have yet to receive further settlement tables."

The Legend and their side concluded, "SS Entertainment failed to fulfill its duties as a label for The Legend. The group has worked hard for their promotions despite the label's lack of action, but the contract is no longer negotiable. From here on, The Legend will provide clear evidence supporting their desires to nullify their contracts with SS Entertainment and will follow the court's decisions in all cases."

Stay tuned for updates.

It seems like the company itself is in a financial distress. Poor guys. I think they're pretty good talent-wise and their songs are not bad. But the company should know that the success of a group doesn't just boils down to talent as there are so many talented idols out there. Marketing plays a big role and you can't leave that to the group alone.

noooooo but I just found out about them... they totally had the capability to become famous. The Legend fighting~~~

Changjaerawr Thursday, July 14, 2016

The Legend doesn't need any lessons, they are vocally better than most groups out there and Lito already composes the songs, bitch please. I hope they are going to be okay though.

Hope it goes well for them. That company name though...

babyblackjack Tuesday, July 12, 2016

They can't provide electricity for the group. Wtf...

so mistreated. their songs were good

I don't understand this. Why debut a group if you can barely pay your own utility bills, let alone pay your artistes and employees. The Legend should go sign with a new company. But who knows - maybe this will be the BAP thing all over again.

nanuk Sam_Rocky Wednesday, July 13, 2016

Perhaps they could when the group was debuted. Perhaps they thought the group would make them some money. Not agreeing with what they've done, but perhaps it wasn't always like that.

Underrated. These boys are vocally talented. Waste of talents. Please move to a different agency and please KPop fans, support these talented boys.

Love to see the companies excuses for failure to pay bills. Probably try to say it was the members responsibility.

xDearLove Tuesday, July 12, 2016

Wtf is up with these companies?? This is why the industry needs to stop debuting groups like it's nothing. I feel like there's a group debiting every month they need to chill and focus on the assets they currently have, it's like they go: "Okay, we need 5 people, any one that can sing and dance and looks pretty. Okay, let them train for a year and throw them on stage and hope they survive, if they don't we'll just debut another group, no problem" STOP THIS, think about taking care of current groups until they have reached their max potential and can do well on their own. Everyone and their mom are going to end up  being an idol at this point.

UGH, YES EXACTLY. I hate seeing all of these mediocre groups bombarding us constantly. If a group actually has care and effort put into it I'm sure it'll succeed, but a half assed one isn't going anywhere.

Hopkinz thestarsinthesky Tuesday, July 12, 2016

The Legend is NOT mediocre. They have some of the best vocals in Kpop and they have great personalities. Their company is just terrible.

Changjaerawr xDearLove Thursday, July 14, 2016

The Legend is different than all of those rookie groups, they are visually one of the best groups and vocally too, and their concepts are way more mature and their oldest is close to the 30's despite being a 2014 rookie

thestarsinthesky Hopkinz Friday, July 15, 2016

I'm not saying The Legend is mediocre, I was talking about the 1224345464657 new groups we see debut every year from small companies and never get anywhere because their companies didn't put much work into them.
