Nongshim, South Korea’s leading instant noodle company, announced a collaboration with the global hit animated movie 'K-Pop Demon Hunters.'
Starting in late August, Nongshim’s Shin Ramyun and Shrimp Crackers will feature packaging with characters like Rumi, Zoey, Saja Boys, and Derpy the tiger from the hit Netflix film. The company will also introduce Shin Toomba Sauce and special cup noodles inspired by the fictional K-pop group Huntrix’s snacks in the movie. These products will be available in South Korea, North America, Europe, Oceania, and Southeast Asia.
The collaboration follows the movie’s success, which garnered 210.5 million views on Netflix, ranking as the second most-watched Netflix movie of all time. The song “Golden” topped Billboard’s Hot 100, and its music video has surpassed 200 million views on Sony Animation’s YouTube page. Nongshim stated that the partnership was inspired by the film’s realistic portrayal of Korean food, resembling their products.
