tvN’s 'You Quiz on the Block' announced on August 20th that director Maggie Kang recently attended a recording of the show.
Kang co-directed the Netflix animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' which has become a global hit by featuring K-pop idols as its central characters.
During the episode, Kang is expected to share behind-the-scenes stories of the making of 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' offering insights into the creative process and the secrets behind the film’s success.
The film tells the story of girl group and demon hunters Huntrix as they face off against Saja Boys. It ranked as the second-highest-grossing Netflix film in history.
The original soundtrack (OST) has also gained widespread popularity. Huntrix’s “Golden” recently topped both the UK and US charts, while Saja Boys’ “Your Idol” and “Soda Pop,” along with Huntrix’s “How It’s Done,” have all secured positions on major charts.
The Maggie Kang episode of 'You Quiz on the Block' is scheduled to air on August 27.
