With just two days left before their highly anticipated comeback, Stray Kids have run into a hurdle as their track “삐처리 (BLEEP)” from the upcoming 4th full-length album 'KARMA' has been deemed unfit for broadcast by KBS.
On August 20th, results from KBS’s music review committee revealed that “BLEEP” was ruled unsuitable for airing due to its lyrics. According to the network, the reasoning behind the ban was that the song contains expressions that “promote antisocial or unhealthy values.”

The track, produced by the group’s in-house unit 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han), is set as the opening track of KARMA, which will be released on August 22nd at 1 PM KST.
Earlier this month, JYP Entertainment introduced the teaser for “BLEEP”, describing it as a bold and witty interpretation where the members act as sheriffs who “scan away” negative words like fail, frail, lazy, hazy, rumors, boomers with barcode readers, symbolically canceling out negativity in a cool and stylish way.
Despite KBS’s ruling, Stray Kids will not be altering the lyrics or resubmitting the track for re-evaluation. A JYP representative told Star News that since the group will be focusing on promoting the title track “CEREMONY”, there are no plans to revise “BLEEP.”
It’s worth noting that aside from “BLEEP”, all other songs on 'KARMA' passed KBS’s broadcast review. On the same day, KBS also banned several other songs, including Jeon Somi’s “Chaotic & Confused” and LOW HIGH LOW’s “귀” and “Cool Cat.”
With 'KARMA' marking Stray Kids’ first full album since '★★★★★ (5-STAR)' in 2023, anticipation remains high. While “BLEEP” may not make it to KBS broadcasts, fans can still look forward to hearing the track in full when the album officially drops.
