As mentioned before, the former 'American Idol' contestant signed with Korean entertainment label Polaris Entertainment for his international music release.
Regarding his debut in Korea, Polaris revealed that although the song will be released there as well, Heejun so far has no plans to promote in Korea.
"Bring the Love Back" is the work of producer team Kadis & Sean, and brings a new sound that you haven't heard from Heejun before! The song won't be dropping on iTunes until September 17, which will be followed by an album release sometime in November, but you can check it out through the MV above.
Regarding the different sound and the auto-tune present throughout the song, Heejun responded to fans, writing on his Facebook,
It is very sad to read comments as "Not the same heejun we expected, lost who you were, i changed, auto tune, disappointed," but i understand and accept every comments as a cheer and advice not a hate.
I am still same heejun who's going after Gods own heart and only loving and living in this world to spread the hopes and love that we missed. Bring the Love Back is more then a just auto tune pop. For me it was an anthem of my heart singing
we need love back in this world. Yes it portrays drinking and partying in the music video but that does not represent my life behind the camera. So if you truly believe my will and mission listen to the lyrics not the auto tune.
And try to listen what I'm trying to say through the music.
sorry for big let down for some of y'all.
but I do have slow r&b on the way also so don't be sad.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST IN SO MANY WAYS.
ALL FOR GOD ALL BY GOD.
