Shinhwa's Junjin reveals he wanted to become a star to find his mother

Shinhwa's Junjin confessed his longing for his mother while growing up.

On the October 9th broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Yeo Yoo Man Man', Junjin shed tears as he revealed, "I wanted to become a singer to find my mother."

Junjin appeared on the show as a surprise guest in support of his father who featured on the episode. During the show, Junjin shared, "As I grew older, I kind of hated my father and resented him as I thought, 'Why do I have to live in this kind of environment?'"

He continued, "I lived with my grandmother instead of my mother. No matter how much my grandmother acted like my mother, my desperate desire for my mother became a life long wish."

His eyes brimmed with tears as he stated,"I started off as a choreographer, but I became a singer after I saw H.O.T. on TV and thought, 'If I appear on TV, maybe I will be able to find my mother.'"�Junjin eventually became reconnected with his biological mother later on thanks to the help of his dad's third wife.
