Hyun Bin to serve as a public relations officer

Hyun Bin has been assigned to the position of a public relations officer for the Marine Headquarters. A representative for the Marines announced, "Hyun Bin has been assigned to the position of a public relations officer. He will serve the post until December 6th, 2012." Lee Jung, who recently wrapped up his military duty in the Marines, also served on the post. Rumors have been swirling about the star's assignment ever since he entered the Marines on March 7th. There were reports that he was going to be assigned to serve on Yeonpyeong Island, a relatively dangerous site. But the Marines determined that Hyun Bin would best fit the position of a PR officer, and made the assignment without special considerations. He reportedly finished four weeks of basic training with flying colors, even receiving a perfect score on the shooting test. It was announced that although Hyun Bin will serve as a public relations officer, he will still receive the full Marines training.
