Wonder Girls Are Now

So the leaked video & pics add up to this. The Wonder Girls will be remaking Fin.K.L's hit song "Now" through a music video for cell phone brand Ever in a TVCF on the 4th. Starting with Girls' Generation remaking "Girls Generation" by Lee Seung Chul followed by Big Bang remaking Lee Moon Sae's "Sunset Glow", remakes for idol groups aren't new. But remaking a music video is something unconventional. For this music video, JYP Entertainment has arranged the beat of the original to recreate into a Wonder Girls special, also including a dazzling dance and strong rap by Yubin. Through this music video, the Wonder Girls are breaking out of their fairy image to portray a more sexy, mature side. This music video is a TV CF for Ever's newest product X-Slim Phone. An EVER representative revealed, “We utilized the black and white contrast of Fin.K.l’s Now MV to emphasize the black and white tone of the X-Slim Phone,” and added, “In order to accentuate the slim, refined design of our product so we changed it to give a futuristic feel and added scenes such as evading laser beams rather than entering a male actor's room.” Since the CF is yet to be released, here's the original Fin.K.L's Now, although I wouldn't have minded watching Wonder Girls breaking into a hot male actor's house.
