Arin, member of the K-pop girl group Oh My Girl and rising actress, has made a striking transformation for her role in the upcoming Wavve original drama 'S Line'.
The show released her character stills on June 30, revealing her new short haircut and a barefaced, almost ethereal look—quite different from her usual youthful image.
Premiering July 11, S Line is a fantasy thriller set in a world where people begin to see a mysterious red thread called the “S Line,” which appears between individuals who’ve had sexual relationships. As these connections surface, buried secrets and forbidden desires are gradually exposed.
In the series, Arin plays Hyun Heup, a girl born with the ability to see S Lines. Isolated from the world due to her unusual gift, she witnesses a shocking murder and becomes the sole eyewitness. Teaming up with detective Ji Wook (played by Lee Soo Hyuk), she begins to question the true meaning of the red threads and her own place in the unfolding mystery.
'S Line' also stars Lee Da Hee and Lee Eun Saem, and will be released over three weeks with two episodes each on July 11, 18, and 25.
Arin, who debuted with Oh My Girl in 2015 and has charmed fans as the group’s beloved youngest member, has steadily expanded her acting career through projects like 'Alchemy of Souls' and 'The World of My 17'.
