Actor Song Kang is preparing for a swift return to the screen following his upcoming military discharge this October. According to reports on June 30, he has been cast as the lead in the new drama 'Four Hands'.
Titled after a piano duet technique where two people play on one instrument, 'Four Hands' tells the story of youth at an arts high school navigating friendship, love, rivalry, and growth. The series will follow their journey from adolescence into adulthood.
Song Kang will reportedly play a gifted and emotionally complex piano prodigy, showcasing a more mature charm in his first project after completing his service.
Song, known as the “Netflix Prince,” rose to fame through hit series like 'Love Alarm', 'Sweet Home', and 'Nevertheless', becoming one of the most recognizable faces in K-dramas globally. Despite his enlistment in April 2023, he remained visible through pre-filmed projects such as 'Sweet Home 3, I-LAND 2', and a cameo in the film 'The Runaway'.
With production preparations for 'Four Hands' already underway, anticipation is high for Song Kang’s official comeback.
